This year’s Friends of Fourmile Hike will take place on Saturday, October 21.
The hike will begin at the dead end of Forest Road 188A in south Fourmile with a long loop north and west, passing a old cabin, a beautiful gentle valley, spectacular rocks, narrow defiles and eventual return to the same starting point or a shuttle may be set for a shorter distance. Weather could modify our plans for a route. Cancellation is a possibility if our unsettled weather continues.
The group will meet at 9:00 am. The hike distance will be a maximum of 5 miles and will take approximately 4-5 hours. The hike is mostly off trail but NOT a serious scramble. Dogs are OK but please be sure they are of the compatible type with other canines and humans. The maximum group size is 15.

The hike is free and open to the public but donations to the Friends of Fourmile are much appreciated. Please email the office to reserve your spot and more details about meeting times and locations will be sent to registered participants.
Many GARNA programs require a Liability Release Form be filled out each calendar year.
Your registration is secured upon receipt of payment, as long as there space is still available in a program. If you prefer not to register online (recommended), you may mail a check, made out to “GARNA” to the address below or stop by the office. Please include a note with the program you are registering for. Be aware, some programs sell out quickly, and we cannot confirm your spot with a mailed registration.

Cancellation policy:
If we are notified of your need to cancel by 24 hours of program date, your program fee will be refunded except for a $3.00 administrative fee. No refunds within 24 hours or after the event (but most events are transferable). If minimum enrollment has not been met 2 days before program date, programs will be cancelled and we will refund the full amount.
