With an acute focus on the health and safety of campers and staff, GARNA will be adjusting Nature’s Scientists to a Monday through Friday full week program with small-group ratios. This full week, one location model limits the amount of community exposure of campers and staff during that time, which our regular 6 week model does not afford.
When: June 22 – 26th, 9 am – 3 pm
Where: Poncha Creek Picnic Area (.7 south on Hwy 285 from the intersection of 285 and 50. See Map).
Who: Ages 7- 11 years old. At this time, only residents ~ 10 miles from the program location may register for this program per advisory from Chaffee County Public Health.
What: Nature Camp promises to be a true ed-venture! Join GARNA instructors in searching for aquatic insects, exploring forestry and birds of prey, completing orienteering challenges, and more – crafts, games, scavenger hunts, nature journaling, etc!

Many GARNA programs require a Liability Release Form be filled out each calendar year.
Your registration is secured upon receipt of payment, as long as there space is still available in a program. If you prefer not to register online (recommended), you may mail a check, made out to “GARNA” to the address below or stop by the office. Please include a note with the program you are registering for. Be aware, some programs sell out quickly, and we cannot confirm your spot with a mailed registration.

Cancellation policy:
If we are notified of your need to cancel by 24 hours of program date, your program fee will be refunded except for a $3.00 administrative fee. No refunds within 24 hours or after the event (but most events are transferable). If minimum enrollment has not been met 2 days before program date, programs will be cancelled and we will refund the full amount.
