HERITAGE AREA PLANNING - The public process of agreeing on the county’s “heritage,” documenting its elements, proposing actions, establishing priorities, identifying sources for support to implement actions

HERITAGE AREA PROGRAM - A set of actions being implemented which actually achieve preservation, protection and management of the county’s heritage resources.
