Get some fresh air and exercise while searching for feathered friends
GARNA’s Birding Club hosts birding walks throughout the year, which are open to anyone who wants to join. Don’t have binoculars or birding equipment? No worries, we have plenty in the Chaffee Gear Library. Just let us know what you need and we will make sure it isn’t a barrier to participation.

Sited Species List – birds that the club have spotted on birding walks
E-Bird – Track and report your bird sightings in this worldwide bird database.
Christmas Bird Count – Each year we participate in the Audubon Christmas Bird Count
Bluebird Box Monitoring – In partnership with Colorado Parks & Wildlife, “adopt” a bluebird box to monitor.

View upcoming events on the Program Calendar. Dates for birding walks are posted as soon as they are finalized. The best way to stay up to date is to sign up to the Birding Club email list, which goes out monthly to current birding club members for meetups.
