Chaffee Rec Adopters Workday: Brown’s Creek Cleanup with Brown’s Creek Alliance & Envision Chaffee County
Workday details:
The Chaffee Rec Adopters will join the Brown’s Creek Alliance for a clean up of Brown’s Creek Dispersed Camping Area on May 9th! Join us in cleaning up ash and trash from 8:30 AM-12:00 PM. Click here for driving directions to our meet-up location at the intersection of CR 272 and 274.
Registration is not required for this workday.
We will provide shovels, rakes, and ash and trash disposal. Bring extra shovels and rakes if you have them, and wear work clothes, closed-toe shoes, and work gloves (we have extra work gloves for those who would like to borrow a pair). Bring plenty of water, snacks, layers, and sunscreen.
The Chaffee Rec Adopters is a Chaffee County program, funded by the Common Ground Fund and run by GARNA.
Many GARNA programs require a Liability Release Form be filled out each calendar year.
Your registration is secured upon receipt of payment, as long as there space is still available in a program. If you prefer not to register online (recommended), you may mail a check, made out to “GARNA” to the address below or stop by the office. Please include a note with the program you are registering for. Be aware, some programs sell out quickly, and we cannot confirm your spot with a mailed registration.

Cancellation policy:
If we are notified of your need to cancel by 24 hours of program date, your program fee will be refunded except for a $3.00 administrative fee. No refunds within 24 hours or after the event (but most events are transferable). If minimum enrollment has not been met 2 days before program date, programs will be cancelled and we will refund the full amount.
