Learn about the Chaffee Rec Adopters

The Chaffee Rec Adopters is a partnership between GARNA, Envision Chaffee County, the USFS, BLM, CPW, with funding support from Chaffee County (through the Common Grounds funds) and Great Outdoors Colorado.

Rec Adopters are community volunteers that want to take care of the lands we love in Chaffee County. Volunteers can participate in group clean up events, or sign up as an individual adopter to take care of a specific area of public lands. Volunteer activities include monitoring, trash & ash clean up, fire ring removal, and actions are collected on the Rec Collector App to report to land agencies immediate needs and help identify priority areas, as well as getting grant funding for infrastructure!

Sign Up to get on the Chaffee Rec Adopter Email List to hear of upcoming volunteer events or visit ChaffeeRecAdopters.org to find out more. You can also email Jessica with any questions!!
