Earth-Friendly Book Club Discussion – May 2017
May 2 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
In May, the GARNA Earth-Friendly Book Club will be discussing Half Earth by E.O. Wilson. From the library website: “In order to stave off the mass extinction of species, including our own, we must move swiftly to preserve the biodiversity of our planet, says Edward O. Wilson in his most impassioned book to date. Half-Earth argues that the situation facing us is too large to be solved piecemeal and proposes a solution commensurate with the magnitude of the problem: dedicate fully half the surface of the Earth to nature.”
Most monthly meetings are held the 1st Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm at the Book Haven. If you are interested in joining, and are a GARNA member, please email Marilyn Moore.
Many GARNA programs require a liability release form be filled out each calendar year.
Your registration is secured upon receipt of payment. If you prefer not to register online (recommended), you may mail a check, made out to “GARNA” to the address below. Please include a note with the program you are registering for.
