As part of this year’s Headwaters Institute, John Fielder, nationally renowned nature photographer, publisher, teacher, and environmentalist, will present a slide show of his photographs of Browns Canyon and all 250 miles of Colorado’s Yampa River from its headwaters in the Flat Tops Wilderness to the confluence with the Green River in Dinosaur National Monument. Music and commentary about Colorado water issues will accompany the presentation.
John will be selling his photo books and will be on hand to sign them. The public can also attend the day-long Institute that includes this presentation, learn more here.
John has participated in a number of fundraisers to protect Browns Canyon and has been an integral part of the Monument designation. Come celebrate our nation’s newest National Monument and learn about another important river protection project.
