Come out and help to eradicate invasive species and identify and plant native plants. The Salida Trail Project will have a volunteer appreciation lunch and one last work day this year, on Friday, October 24, from 10 am to 2 pm. We want to celebrate you and the trail, and it will be a great opportunity to learn about native plants, invasive weeds and wildlife habitat along the Monarch Spur Trail.
We will meet at the corner of the trail and Holman Avenue. Coffee and lunch will be provided. You are invited to join us for lunch even if you can’t attend the morning if you have helped us with the trail this year. All the work that’s been done this year will be highlighted, along with the trail corridor that is such an important “connector” for our community.
We’d love to have kids and adults working side by side, and are recruiting various youth groups for the project. Please let us know if you have any ideas about youth groups to target.

Many GARNA programs require a Liability Release Form be filled out each calendar year.
Your registration is secured upon receipt of payment, as long as there space is still available in a program. If you prefer not to register online (recommended), you may mail a check, made out to “GARNA” to the address below or stop by the office. Please include a note with the program you are registering for. Be aware, some programs sell out quickly, and we cannot confirm your spot with a mailed registration.

Cancellation policy:
If we are notified of your need to cancel by 24 hours of program date, your program fee will be refunded except for a $3.00 administrative fee. No refunds within 24 hours or after the event (but most events are transferable). If minimum enrollment has not been met 2 days before program date, programs will be cancelled and we will refund the full amount.
