GARNA is thrilled to offer Nature Camp this summer in Buena Vista!
With an acute focus on the health and safety of campers and staff, GARNA will be adjusting Nature Camp to a 3-day Tuesday through Thursday program with small-group ratios. This single location, small-group model limits the amount of community exposure of campers and staff during that time, not afforded by our previous 6-week model.
When: June 16, 17, and 18, 9am – 3pm.
Where: McPhelemy Park (map)
Who: Ages 7 – 11 years old. At this time, only residents from within 10-miles of McPhelemy Park may register for this program as advised by Chaffee County Public Health.
What: Nature Camp promises to be a true ed-venture! Join GARNA instructors in searching for aquatic insects, exploring forestry and birds of prey, completing orienteering challenges, and more – crafts, games, scavenger hunts, nature journaling, etc!

Many GARNA programs require a Liability Release Form be filled out each calendar year.
Your registration is secured upon receipt of payment, as long as there space is still available in a program. If you prefer not to register online (recommended), you may mail a check, made out to “GARNA” to the address below or stop by the office. Please include a note with the program you are registering for. Be aware, some programs sell out quickly, and we cannot confirm your spot with a mailed registration.

Cancellation policy:
If we are notified of your need to cancel by 24 hours of program date, your program fee will be refunded except for a $3.00 administrative fee. No refunds within 24 hours or after the event (but most events are transferable). If minimum enrollment has not been met 2 days before program date, programs will be cancelled and we will refund the full amount.
