Join GARNA for an in-depth investigation and update on one of North America’s most amazing creatures. Pronghorns have been roaming North America for over a million years and possess fascinating characteristics that make them one of the most rare and unique creatures on the planet. The talk will be presented by Matthew Coen, local Wildlife Technician and naturalist. Matthew is a self-proclaimed pronghorn fanatic and intends to inspire a new appreciation for these local “speed-goats.”
Matthew is a life-long naturalist and has taught nature and science programs at the Yosemite Institute, Aspen Center for Environmental Studies, National Outdoor Leadership School, as well as GARNA and the Crest Academy.
This popular program will take place on January 11 at the First Presbyterian Church at 7 Poncha Blvd. in Salida in the Discovery Classroom at 7 pm.
Fee: $3 for GARNA members, $6 non members. There are still tickets available at the door. Fees help support important stewardship initiatives in the Upper Arkansas Valley.

Many GARNA programs require a Liability Release Form be filled out each calendar year.
Your registration is secured upon receipt of payment, as long as there space is still available in a program. If you prefer not to register online (recommended), you may mail a check, made out to “GARNA” to the address below or stop by the office. Please include a note with the program you are registering for. Be aware, some programs sell out quickly, and we cannot confirm your spot with a mailed registration.

Cancellation policy:
If we are notified of your need to cancel by 24 hours of program date, your program fee will be refunded except for a $3.00 administrative fee. No refunds within 24 hours or after the event (but most events are transferable). If minimum enrollment has not been met 2 days before program date, programs will be cancelled and we will refund the full amount.
